Based in Fairhope, AL, Meghan works remotely for Sonrise while leading at 3Circle Church, where she and TC lead the student ministry. They love to spend time together going to the beach or taking their pop-up camper out for the weekend, and they get to Sonrise as often as possible.

Chris, Becky and their two kids attended Family Camp spontaneously when a spot came open in 2020, and then liked it so much they went back in 2021. After two life-changing summer experiences, Becky know if a position ever opened up, she wanted to work for Sonrise. In 2022, that happened! Becky works from her home in Colorado Springs as the Communications Lead, maintaining  the website, drafting emails and any other communication needs. In her free time, Becky likes to cook, listen to podcasts, flip old furniture and write on her blog.

2024 Summer Staff

Sarah Foster
Youth and Children's Program Director

Hi Sonrise families! Interning at Sonrise in 2020 was so fun I decided to come back for a second summer, this time in a new role. As a military kid, I like to say I’m from all over…but after my dad retired from the Air Force last summer, my family decided to establish our homebase in Colorado Springs. I recently graduated from James Madison University, where one my favorite leadership opportunities involved coordinating small groups for InterVarsity. I’m now enjoying working at The Classical Academy, a classically inspired charter school. After this summer, I’ll be back in Colorado Springs at Woodmen Valley Chapel as their Connect & Grow resident. I can’t wait to meet everyone and see what God has in store for this summer!

Zeke McGee
Intern / Counselor

Hey y'all! My name is Zeke McGee and I am from Cimarron, Colorado. I just graduated from high school and will be attending Colorado School of Mines this fall pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. I love running, skiing, playing music, camping, and DIY projects. I am super excited to get to meet everyone and can't wait for all God will do this summer!

JillianTrowbridge

Jillian Trowbridge
Intern / Counselor

Hey y'all, my name is Jillian and I'm so excited to meet you this summer! I just graduated from Lewis Palmer High School in Monument, CO - at long last! I plan to study psychology at Biola University to become a counselor or social worker, with an emphasis in family relationships. That's why I can't wait to spend time with you all and learn a little more about this calling God has put on my heart! In my (limited) free time, you'll find me devouring books (I especially love mysteries), hiking the nearby mountains (I've done 14 fourteeners so far), working out at the gym, or getting coffee with a friend (fav order is a brown sugar shaken espresso). So grateful to have the opportunity to serve you this summer!

Amelia Topliss
Kitchen Assistant

Hey everyone! My name is Amelia and I grew up in Ft. Worth Texas but have lived in Montrose Colorado for about 8 years now. I graduated high school a few years ago and I’m still figuring out where the Lord is leading me. Some things that make me happy are playing volleyball, paddle boarding, hiking, playing Ticket to Ride, and spending time with my friends and family. I’m so glad excited for this opportunity and can’t wait for all of the adventures this summer!
