Upon completion of that interview, we will contact you within 14 days (unless otherwise noted) to let you know the status of your application.     You will need to list 4 references. We will email them a link to a reference form to fill out to complete your application process. Please list 2 Employer/Teacher References - A person who has seen you interact with others in a work or volunteer environment (like an employer or co-worker), or in a school environment (like a teacher). Please list 2 Pastor/Mentor References - A person who knows your spiritual journey (like a pastor, mentor, or counselor).

We pursue godliness and are committed to avoiding behavior that leads others to question the character of God, including: • Sexual Immorality – adultery, fornication, and pornography • Drug Use or Alcohol Abuse – illegal use of controlled substances, recreational use of marijuana, or the abuse of alcohol or prescription or over-the-counter drugs • Abuse of Children – sexual, physical, or verbal abuse of children, including inappropriate physical contact and sexually suggestive conversation • Criminal Conduct – criminal behavior deemed unlawful under local, state, or federal law 4. We believe outward appearance and attitudes can help or hinder our mission in helping others grow closer to God. While we dress casually during our retreats, we ask our staff to present themselves in a professional and humble way. We encourage staff to not choose elements that seem to unnecessarily draw attention to the external appearance and provide a distraction for our guests and other staff. If you have specific questions about what may be unwise and unacceptable, please ask the director.

    > I agree to abide by the Staff Expectations (see above) of Sonrise Mountain Ranch as well as all applicable policies & procedures. > I understand SMR has a “no pet” policy due to housing, guest interaction, and pet-to-pet issues. > If selected, I commit to fulfill my contract dates. > I authorize investigation of all statements herein and release Sonrise Mountain Ranch and all others from liability in connection with same. I further authorize law enforcement officials and other entities to accomplish background checks deemed necessary by Sonrise Mountain Ranch and to furnish a response to Sonrise Mountain Ranch. I understand that untrue, misleading, or omitted information herein may result in dismissal, regardless of the time of discovery.
